The house has long eves and low pitch (3:12)on the roof. Most green roof projects are of a "potted plant" type of construction and on flat sections. In this case we have engineered soil of equal portions of compost, loam and pumice, native seed is directly applied and grown in place.
Here the tall crreping red fescue grass is coming in. It never got above about 4" (100 mm) in height. This was fortunate as I was getting offers for goats.
Looks like we will need to overcast some extra seed and lightly fertilze.
