Starting 2010! Now the windows are installed. They are fir casement tilt-turn European style. Hannes Haase of H-H Windows made the windows and exterior doors. The doors await the plaster inside before installation.
The chimney is going up. John Kaczka is the mason and is building a Rumford style fireplace that reflects more heat and the smoke seems to exhaust better than older style fireplaces. You can see the poured hearth and you don't see the huge under floor piling built to hold the first floor brickwork.
